The mission of Jaheziya's Fire & Rescue department is to train delegates in the U.A.E in industrial fire protection and emergency services. The candidates will learn to deal effectively and efficiently with the social, economic, and technical aspects of fire and emergency response. Their professionalism and capacity to protect the country from the devastation of fire, environmental, natural, and man-made emergencies will be enhanced. This is made possible by providing them with state of the art education, training, resources, certification and leadership.

Auxiliary Fire Fighting
Content Overview
The auxiliary fire fighting program is designed to provide current and prospective fire fighters with the tactics needed to handle emergencies in industrial atmospheres. This enables delegates to develop skills for preventing and responding to emergencies.
Prerequisites:
Students are required to be:
- Medically and physically fit (sponsor to ensure medical fitness).
- Able to understand instructions / training delivered in the English Language.
- A minimum of 18 years old.
- Medically fit to participate in all elements of the course, and they will be asked to complete a self-declaration medical form before the course commences.

Hazardous Materials Awareness
Content Overview
The Hazardous Materials Awareness course is designed for those personnel (fire, police, EMS, and industry) who may be first on the scene of a hazardous materials emergency. The content includes awareness-level information that is mandated by OSHA and EPA regulations, and is recommended by national standards. With a focus on safety, the program describes correct awareness level actions, including how to recognize potential problems, take the appropriate actions to protect oneself and others, collect hazard information from the current edition of the Emergency Response Guidebook, and initiate actions that lead to a favourable outcome.
The course is designed to provide First Responders with the basic information necessary to meet some of the JPR’s of NFPA 1072: standard for Hazardous Materials / Weapons of Mass Destruction Emergency Response Personnel Professional Qualifications 2017 Edition.

Students are required to be:
- Medically and physically fit (sponsor to ensure medical fitness).
- Able to understand instructions / training delivered in the English Language.
- A minimum of 18 years old.

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required by first responders to perform duties related to Hazardous Material Reponses. The course meets some of the JPR’s of NFPA 1072: standard for Hazardous Materials / Weapons of Mass Destruction Emergency Response Personnel Professional Qualifications 2017 Edition.

Professional Fire Fighter Levels 1 & 2
Content Overview
This course delivers a comprehensive fire fighting experience of 11 weeks, during which participants will acquire the underpinning knowledge, skills, and understanding required by fire fighters to perform their duties.
It provides entry-level fire fighter candidates with the basic information necessary to meet some of the JPR’s of NFPA 1001: standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications, 2013 edition for fire fighter I and fire fighter II.

Pumping Apparatus Driver / Operator
Content Overview
This course is geared towards drivers / operators who are responsible for operating apparatus equipped with fire pumps. It tackles the general principles of pump operations, and the application of those principles where feasible. It is also meant to guide drivers / operators in the proper operation and care for the apparatus. Through this course, fire fighters will receive the basic information necessary to meet some of the JPR’s of NFPA 1002: standard for Fire Apparatus Driver / Operator Professional Qualifications.
Prerequisites:
Students are required to have completed one of the following:- Firefighter I.
- Be an Industrial Advanced Exterior Fire Brigade member.
- Be an Industrial Interior Structural Fire Brigade member.
- Be medically fit to participate in all elements of the course, and they will be asked to complete a self-declaration medical form before the course commences.
- Have a driving license equipped with heavy duty.

NFPA 1081, Industrial Fire Brigade - Incipient
Content Overview
This course is based on NFPA 1081: Standard for Industrial Fire Brigade Member Professional Qualifications. It is geared towards persons who seek the knowledge and skills to function as members of an organized industrial fire brigade, providing services at a specific facility or site. This level is specifically designed for individuals who will be fighting fire inside or outside of an enclosed structure or building when the fire has not progressed beyond incipient stage.
Prerequisites:
Students are required to:- Be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Have a High School certificate.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Have the correct job-related physical requirements.
- Have a laptop and knowledge of computers.
- Have a First Aid / CPR certification.

NFPA 1041, Fire Service Instructor
Content Overview
This course is based on NFPA 1041: Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications. It is designed for individuals who want to develop the knowledge and ability to deliver instructions effectively from a prepared lesson plan, with the use of instructional aids and evaluation instruments. The Fire Instructor I will adapt lesson plans to the unique requirements of the students, organize the learning environment so that learning is maximized, and meet the recordkeeping requirements.

- Have a High School certificate.
- Have an NFPA 1001 level 02 completion certificate.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
