  • Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities

    Content Overview

    The PSSR Training course (STCW95 & STCW 2010) is required to be undertaken by all seafarers in accordance with the STCW Code.

    This course focuses on introducing what it is like to work on a vessel, including emergency procedures, pollution prevention, safe working practices and how to work effectively in a multicultural environment. All seafarers in deck, engine and hotel departments are required to be in possession of a PSSR certificate before they start their shipboard duties.

  • Personal Survival Techniques Training

    Content Overview

    The PST Training course (STCW95 & STCW 2010) is required to be undertaken by all seafarers in accordance with the STCW Code. The course is intended to ensure that seafarers are aware of the hazards of working on a vessel, and enables them to respond appropriately to an emergency.

    The STCW Personal Survival Techniques (sea survival course) module provides knowledge of essential prevention and survival techniques. It includes both theoretical and practical sessions, investigating causes of distress, knowledge and use of equipment, launch and recovery of life rafts, preparation for survival, personal survival skills, and use of search and rescue organizations.

  • Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Training

    Content Overview

    The FPFF Training course (STCW95 & STCW 2010) is required to be undertaken by all seafarers in accordance with the STCW Code.

    The course aims to give all persons intending to go to sea a basic induction and knowledge of the ways in which fires are caused and the precautions to be taken to minimize the risk of fires on board ships

  • Elementary First Aid Training

    Content Overview

    The EFA Training course (STCW95 & STCW 2010) is required to be undertaken by all seafarers in accordance with the STCW Code.

    The Elementary First Aid course is a combination of both theoretical and practical training. Delegates will learn bandaging methods and how to move and position a patient, as well as how to improvise with various materials to assist with this.
